Building Automation

What is BAS and what does it control?

BAS (sometimes known as BMS, BACS or BCS) are centralized, integrated networks designed to monitor and control various MEP building functions, including HVAC, lighting, process equipment, power, security, fire alarms, plumbing and water monitoring.

Building automation and controls specialists

For more than 30 years, MSC has specialized in building automation and controls systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. We provide custom BAS design, installation, repair, loop check, continuity check, and commissioning for direct digital control (DDC), electronic, and pneumatic systems. MSC's expert engineers and technicians can ensure optimum whole-system performance, energy efficiency, and flexibility for your facility's specific needs.

Corrective solutions for improved performance

Building automation and controls systems are often impaired by inferior design and/or installation. MSC provides effective diagnostic and corrective solutions when existing BAS systems are not performing up to par.
